Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of full accounting for a limited liability company (sp. z o.o.) in accordance with the Accounting Act (UoR).
• Preparation and submission of tax returns (VAT, WHT) compliant with current legislation.
• Calculation of ZUS contributions, preparation, and submission of registration and calculation declarations to ZUS (ZUS DRA, ZUS RCA, ZUS ZUA, and others).
• Conduct of monthly and annual balance sheet and Profit and Loss Statement (RZiS) closures.
• Bookkeeping entries for payroll, depreciation, fixed assets documentation, Management Accounting (PMK) entries, reserves, and other operations required for proper month, quarter, and fiscal year closures.
• Responsibility for accounting policies and the accuracy of accounting records.
• Monitoring changes in tax and accounting legislation and their implementation.
• Current analysis of documents from a tax legislation perspective.
• Responsibility for external and internal reporting, tax obligations, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Education: Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the role of an autonomous/Chief Accountant in a sp. z o.o.
• Excellent knowledge of Polish tax and accounting legislation.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting annual closures.
• Experience in performing internal audits within a company.
• Ability to independently interpret legal regulations and solve accounting problems.
• Proficient knowledge of the Symfonia system (SAGE).
• Confident proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Confident use of corporate communication tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).

Language Skills:

• Polish – fluent command (mandatory).

• Effective time and priority management skills.
