We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux & Robotics Developer to build and enhance a Linux agent that serves as the primary endpoint communication hub and on-device analysis engine, helping customers protect their systems from ransomware and other advanced threats. The role combines low-level Linux and eBPF development with robotics engineering, particularly ROS 2, to support secure, reliable deployment and operation in robotic and distributed edge environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance system software for user-space components, user-space loaders, and Linux kernel interactions.
• Design and implement core agent functionality, including data-processing pipelines, inter-component communication, telemetry, and system integration.
• Design and develop eBPF programs and, when required, kernel-level drivers for behavioral monitoring and security-event detection.
• Integrate the Linux agent with ROS 2-based robotic systems and distributed edge platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ROS 2 nodes, services, actions, topics, launch files, and lifecycle-managed components.
• Configure and optimize DDS communication, Quality of Service (QoS) policies, discovery, and message flow for reliable operation in distributed robotic environments.
• Analyze process activity, network traffic, file-system events, and inter-process communication to identify suspicious or anomalous behavior.
• Investigate performance, reliability, concurrency, memory-management, and real-time or near-real-time issues across user-space, kernel-space, and ROS 2 components.
• Collaborate with security, platform, robotics, QA, and DevOps engineers to define interfaces and deliver production-ready capabilities.
• Write unit, integration, system, and hardware-in-the-loop tests where applicable.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, technical investigations, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Required Qualifications:

• Strong professional experience in C programming and system-level software development.
• Hands-on robotics engineering experience, including development and integration of software for robotic or autonomous systems.
• Practical experience with ROS 2, including nodes, topics, services, actions, parameters, launch systems, lifecycle nodes, and ROS 2 tooling.
• Good understanding of ROS 2 communication architecture, DDS middleware, discovery, and QoS policies.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals, including system calls, processes, threads, memory management, scheduling, file systems, and kernel data structures.
• Experience with Linux driver development, kernel modules, eBPF, or other kernel-level programming.
• Experience with socket programming and common Internet and Ethernet protocols.
• Strong debugging and profiling skills using tools such as GDB, strace, perf, Valgrind, sanitizers, or equivalent tools.
• Experience developing multithreaded and concurrent software, with a solid understanding of synchronization and inter-process communication.
• Proficiency with Git and modern software-development practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Ability to write maintainable, well-tested, and clearly documented production code.
